At Christmas time we enjoy remembering why Christ came into the world. May these verses from the Bible give you peace that only Jesus Christ can bring.
Isaiah 9:2

“Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, I am the light of the world, He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

“I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.”

“He (Christ) has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood (on the cross), the forgiveness of sins.”

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Jon has recovered from the stroke that He had in May 2022, after two non-invasive procedures to repair his cow valve. The surgeons had replaced his aortic valve with a cow valve 14 years ago, after a massive heart attack. Last year, during the procedures, he had become paralyzed on his whole right side. We are so thankful that God restored him to health. Jon’s hip replacement went very well this spring, as did his two cataract surgeries. Christa came over to help after his hip replacement surgery.
This past May, we were able to go to the mountains and visit Christa and Jonathan, and his family. Also, while we were there, we caught up with Jon’s niece and her family.
In July, we went to Jon’s annual family reunion. This is the first major trip for Jon since his medical adventures and the first trip for our motorhome in several years. We are happy to report both survived and made the trip home.
